What people have said
Thanks to those that have already tried WhoseTime? and given us some good feedback. Some people didn't immediately know what to do, so we have been working on some help pages. Click on How does it work? on the homepage to see what we've added.
The first press release is this week, so fingers crossed ....
OK, it took us a long time ... but we are finally launched!

Special thanks to Marco (the bug finder) Vanhove, Mark Cuypers & Wim Tobback.
Where did the idea for WhoseTime? come from?

Rough Times
My husband Owen and I are a professional couple working in the IT industry, and we have a one year old baby girl called Jaime, as well as Owen's two teenage children, Jess and Dan. Like most people, we struggle in our busy lives to have enough time to do everything we need to, let alone want to. It's no surprise then that in the early hours of one morning following a sleep deprived night with our daughter that we got talking about how great it would be if someone could actually give you time!
Of course, we knew that we couldn't be given more hours in a day. But it got us thinking about important moments in our lives, personal things like the night Jaime was born, the day we were married etc. We thought of making a website that could record all these moments, and talked excitedly about the idea over the 2005 Christmas holidays.
Shortly after Christmas, we planned a trip to Spain to see Owen's parents who had just bought an apartment where they planned to spend the winter seasons. Once in Spain, it was clear that Owen's father, Mike was not well. It was unusual to see him like that as he was always so fit, a professional gardener by trade. Mike and Anne returned home to Wales in January and shortly afterwards, Mike was diagnosed with advanced Bowel Cancer. The local hospital tried various treatments, but tragically Mike died on May 13th 2006 at 02:00 am.
Mike was always a big inspiration to Owen, and he dearly misses him. It has been a very difficult part of our lives, and it has taught us how precious time is. We try very hard to make sure we make the most of every minute of every day, and we see WhoseTime? as a way of making a lasting memorial to Mike.
