20 September 2000, 16:08 This is the day I became an Australian Citizen, the day I swore allegience to the Queen and all that jazz. Friends of ours were given a tree to plant when they were naturatized, all I got was a handshake from the then Mayor of Ballina,although I am an Aussie I am still a Taffy at heart and I deffinately fly 'The Flag' on St David's Day.
